IT Security and Network Services Territory Sales Manager

Position
As territory sales manager, this position reports to the Vice
President of Sales and will directly market and work with channel
partners to sell managed services focused on security, networking
and hosting. This is a hunter role to commercial accounts within an
assigned geographic territory to develop and manage new accounts,
utilize relationship building skills and solution selling to
develop "C" level contacts, and conduct face-to-face meetings with
prospective customers to determine product / service needs.
Primary Locations include: Columbus, OH and Pittsburgh,
PA. Candidates in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Great Lakes
region will also be considered based upon qualifications and book
of business. Position will be based remotely, and require
minimal time in Findlay, OH.
The right candidate will be rewarded with tremendous earnings
(potential $100K + on target) to include base, variable
compensation and full range of benefits and 401k. Compensation
package is dependent upon experience level.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Orchestrate an effective sales campaign with the client
stakeholders
- Identify, target and close leads in the market
- Ensure accuracy in forecasting, opportunity management and
completion of sales reports
- Support end to end sales engagements
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of security infrastructure
as it relates to networks, the internet, network security and
appliances designed to maintain a secure computing environment
- Lead company expansion into assigned markets
- Work closely with service support and technical account
management
- Provide accurate monthly forecast with opportunities on short,
medium, and long term sales
- Uphold company values and ensure CentraComm is well known in
the market
- Continuously follow CentraComm and Partner education programs
as well as industry trends, become a CentraComm certified
professional
- Monitor all aspects of sales, from lead to delivery to
customer
- Responsible for the overall customer satisfaction in the
territory
- Travel regularly and maintain a valid drivers license
- Meet sales quota and other key metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Strategy
Work closely with sales management to ensure effective
management of the existing business as well as expanding the
business in the territory, and to win all sales opportunities in
other defined enterprise verticals. Strive to be the best at what
you do. Maintain a strong focus on customer service which is an
integral part of our brand and culture
- Ensure execution of strategic and operational marketing / sales
activities building and maintaining the lead generation structure
in the territory
- Identify new market opportunities and lead key account
executive activities
- Actively participate in relevant industry & market events
in order to promote our solution i.e. healthcare summits, security
conferences, etc
Qualifications
The individual will have 3+ years of experience in account
management of B2B sales and a proven track record of 3 years of
100% or better quota performance for a technology services company
selling mid size to large corporations. Have ability to build and
maintain IT & executive contacts, as well as meet sales quota
within the assigned market. Strong ability to act as a solutions
consultant as it relates to the benefits of managed services.
- University Degree preferred
- Extensive market knowledge on Internet Security and IT solution
offerings
- Extensive network of contacts in supported geographic market
across the following business verticals: Healthcare, Manufacturing,
Financial, Energy, Education, Retail and Service Providers (ISP,
Cable & Telecom)
- Maintain current leading edge knowledge through continued
product research and training
- Experience with Managed and Professional Services (I.T.
hardware and software product knowledge a plus)
Certifications preferred:
Certified in CISSP, CEH, other Security
Certifications
- Juniper Networks, All Product lines - JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP,
JNCIE
- Cisco, Networking and Security Product lines - CCNA, CCNP,
CCIE
