CentraComm Named Finalist in TechColumbus Regional Innovation Competition

Findlay, OH, January 14, 2010 - CentraComm, a leading IT managed security and services company, has been named a finalist in the TechColumbus Innovation Awards that showcase the region's outstanding technology companies. CentraComm is a finalist in the Outstanding Service category.

From a record number of nominees, winners in 13 award categories will be announced before an audience of 1,000+ attendees at the TechColumbus Innovation Awards ceremony on February 4.

"It is an honor to be a finalist for this award and to be recognized for our innovations as well as being a trusted advisor to our customers," said Daniel Bemis, President and CEO. "We look forward to the event to learn if we will receive this year's Outstanding Service award."

CentraComm is an industry leading managed IT service provider that originally formed in 2001 as an Internet Service Provider (ISP). CentraComm serves Fortune 50 to mid-market organizations throughout North America and manages networks around the globe. CentraComm has built its reputation by offering routing-switching-security expertise, experienced engineers, unmatched customer service, best-of-breed products and a deep history of cloud-based IT services.

The TechColumbus finalist notification rounded out an award-winning year for CentraComm. In May CentraComm received the Juniper Networks Growth Partner of the year honors from Catalyst Telecom. In August, the organization received its fourth consecutive ranking on the CRN Fast 100 list, followed in September with a third straight listing on the Inc. 5000 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

"The past year has been very challenging and rewarding, I am pleased with our organization's ability to add new customers and launch new cloud-based managed security service offerings, while maintaining the great service levels that our customers depend on which in turn earn us these prestigious awards," stated Bemis. "We have a lot to be proud of this year."

Security-as-a-Service offerings can save end-users up to 55 percent in security costs (but peace of mind? priceless)
